Delaware Orchestral and Chamber Music Institute (DOCMI)

Intermediate/advanced students through junior year by audition; counselors/fellows; rising seniors. A comprehensive camp focused on orchestral and chamber music for advanced/intermediate string, woodwind, brass, and percussion students. Participate in orchestra rehearsals, sectionals, instrumental and conducting master classes, chamber music sessions, movement sessions, and special presentations by professional guest artists and ensembles. A placement audition is required for participation (current DYSO members are not required to audition). Assistant coach and counselor positions (100% tuition remission, see details below) are awarded to rising high-school seniors and college freshmen by audition. Fellowships (including a small stipend) are awarded to rising college sophomores and older by audition. All other students are eligible to audition for select Leadership Scholarships.
